Gata Negra are a three piece pop band from Perth, Western Australia. Founded in 1999, the have released three full length albums, and an EP. Thier last album, Ruby, as the band has since parted ways, was released in November 2006.
THe bands music is centred around the songs of singer and bassist Cat Hope, though drummer Pete Guazzelli contributes a song on the new album.
